Connecting to Graphite-Carbon using UDP

Hi,

I´m trying to send some usage data from Pega to Carbon. I know that sending data in a UDP call using netcat (as described here) works.

Is it possible to configure a (connect?) rule to send a UDP package to a server or do I need to use some specialized java code for this?

In theory, Graphite-Carbon needs to implement SOAP or REST services for Pega to consume. I saw

  • The Render URL API

but no URL (endpoint) for feeding the data to Graphite-Carbon. So my guess is that you would need to write some java code, at least for feeding the data part.
