Perhaps your third party tools are generating a different request than you have configured Pega to generate.
Have you analyzed the traffic to see if the headers and request data match when requests come out of the different applications?

Hi,
This error will come when the response is not in JSON format, as you are trying to map to JSON, please check the response coming from the service & also try to test from third party tools like Postman to validate the request and response.
