401 Unauthorized error in Connect-Rest
I am trying to configure a Connect-Rest in Pega. This connect-rest is trying to hit a system with http url and username and password as a authorization. To configure the same I am using Basic Auth profile and added the credentials into it, included the same in my connect rest and trying to hit. However, I am getting error 401 Unauthorized. I have tried multiple solution even tried checking Preemptive Authentication checkbox but no help. Our server is a weblogic server. Can someone please help us with this? The same works from Browser and SOAP UI.

@MarcLasserre_GCS Hi Marc, Thank you for your prompt response. However I have seen this post earlier and it could not help me as, when I insert the step in TestConnectivity activity and trace it the local variables which I mapped to the username and password in the Java get blank values. I also tried passing the Authorization in header of the Connect-Rest Get Method ex: Authorization : Basic Base64Encoded("<user>:<pass>"). Cannot share the user name and password.
Also, tried converting this to base64 and then pass in header. That could also not help. I also checked the config.xml file but the enforce-valid-basic-auth-credentials field is not present in the config (https://community.pega.com/knowledgebase/articles/troubleshooting-weblogic-error-when-http-basic-authentication-enabled-soap)
Added logging levels also but could not see anything in the logs filed for the same. Can you please help me further on this.
