Configuring a Search Field in Pega 7.1.9

Hi,

The search control is deprecated in ML9 and replaced with a user preference field. How can we configure the associated data page while configuring it from the case manager portal? We don't see an option of selecting the data page and the associated field from it. We are trying to configure it as a part of 30-mins student loan application.

Have you considered doing this in a local Pega Express instance. Pega Express does all of the background work for you that you are trying to accomplish here. In Pega 7.1.9 you can easily navigate to the Designer Studio from your application as well.
