Compatibility View Settings
Hi all,
I came across this issue when comparing the running of an automation. One instance would run fine and match the elements on a web page, the other instance would fail. We then established that the reason for this was the Compatibility View Settings.
Does anyone have an automation they'd be willing to share that allows the setting in question to be interrogated, to establish whether it needs changing on the users' machine, so that we are able to identify an issue before a misleading warning appears?

The GetValue method is in the mscorlib assembly under Registry.

I would check the registry instead. According to the article below, the registry key should contain a 1 if it is enabled.
Here's a sample solution reading this registry key. I left the DefaultValue parameter unconnected so it will be empty when the key is not found.

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately I can't seem to open the solution as it's an .ossln file type.
Are you able to create it as .sln, so that I can open within Vis Studio please?

One final question. Where can I find the Microsoft.Win32.registry object. Within Visual Studio, I've searched under: Tools>Choose Toolbox Items>Pega Robotics Static Members (From global assembly cache), but cannot see it (obviously) listed.
