Comma Separated Report Column Values in Single Row

Hi All,

In Report Definition, how can we get column values in a single row if their PYID is same. For instance: If PYID 1 has corresponding 3 statuses, it should display all the statuses in one single row separated by comma rather than displaying 3 rows. Please refer attachment for more clarity.

I don't think there is a standard way to do this in SQL. Depending on which database you are on, there may be functions available to help that are specific to that database, e.g.:

If there are "concat" functions available in your database, you will need to write a SQL function alias to use them. Just know that if you change databases in the future, the function alias will stop working, so there is a potential maintenance issue.
