Column Sorting does not work on first click while using custom control in Grid | CRMHC 7.31 on Pega 7.3.1
We have configured a grid with a custom control as a column.
On grid operations "Allow column sorting" is enabled and also on column having custom control, sorting is enabled as shown in attachment here.
When I click on column having custom control for the first time, no sorting happens.
But if I click again on the same column, the sorting works fine.
But, it is an inconsistent behavior. The sorting should work on one click only as for all other columns of grid.
Is there some fix or work around for this? Kindly suggest.

The issue is seen only when the property with custom control is having sort order as 1 in report definition.
Is this expected behavior?

Hi Dames,
Thanks for posting on PSC.
I believe this limitation is by design.Sorting Works on property values and not on customised/formatted/displayed values.
If you're hand-coding this , you will likely need to code some activity manually to achieve this.

On further analysis I could see that using existing property also, the behavior is same.
The property which is set as primary column for sorting in RD gives this behavior.
