cockroachdb as database backend for Pega8.1.* ?

As one of our infrastructure team is busy building a cockroachDB cluster (https://www.cockroachlabs.com/) I was wondering if anybody tested it with Pega already. CockroachDB is a distributed SQL database compatible with PostgreSQL.

While I have not tried it, I can say that it is not supported. So if SRs are raised with GCS, and  the issue stems from the use of CockroachDB, we will request that you move to a supported database.

Hi Catalin,

I think we have not tested it therefore It is not mentioned anywhere in platform support guide also.I guess this is not supported DB.
