CMIS versioning

hello team,

I am working on CMIS Versioning can you please help me understand what does "Lock this attachment for local editing means"

What are the benefits and can we unlock the rule even after editing is over

Hi setha,

To prevent other users from modifying the file attachment, we select "Lock this attachment for local editing".

The problem is Upload a new version is "Disabled" and we are not allowed to check in any file, its the same when rule on "pxCanEditCMISAttachment" on the checkbox and the Upload button so not sure if this is an OOTB defect
