Clustering changes in PEGA
Dear Community-
I have some queries on the clustering changes in upcoming PEGA versions.
Is there any documentation for externalizing hazelcast other than below?

In container deployment when using the clustering service image, should we still need the externalized hazelcast?
Is there any documentation for hazelcast setup?

External hazelcast is called as "Clustering service" and if you are using more than one pod for a given node type - to make sure data, rule cache is in synch, you must deploy clustering service. just give the image name and it's version in the default helm charts provided. helm charts are intelligent enough to establish the connection between the pods. a sample POC of deploying externalized hazel cast, SRS is here refer to it.

In container deployment, if you are using the clustering service image provided by Pega, you do not need to externalize Hazelcast as it is included in the image. The clustering service image includes Hazelcast and other clustering-related services that are necessary for clustering to work properly. However, if you want to customize Hazelcast settings or use a different version of Hazelcast than what is included in the clustering service image, you may choose to externalize Hazelcast.
