Context :: We are trying to externalize our services and we are running on customer managed cloud. This is to just get an idea around the number of EC2 Instances(VM Based clustering service externalization) that have to be provisioned per environment.

For running the clustering service in both non production and production environments the recommended instance count and instance type/size are as follows: Instance Count: 3 instances CPU Cores per Instance: 2 cores Total CPU Cores: 6 cores Memory (RAM) per Instance: 1 GB Total RAM: 3 GB Storage Volume per Instance: Not applicable (N/A) These recommendations apply to all environments including production and development.
