Hi,
I am having the same problem as discussed in the following link:

Most of the time when I replaced the .openspan and .manfest files in the shared network folder, RDA users are getting loaded the updated version.But sometimes they are getting the old version.So I can to run a script on the users machines to delete the folder,
C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Local\OpenSpan\8.0\Projects\
The problem is that I can't force an automation to run the clearcache script because it should be run before the runtime starts. Have anybody found a way that we can force to run a file like this before starting up the runtime or any work around for the issue?

Hi,
Is it possible that connectivity to the network share is lost sometimes? In this case Runtime loads previously downloaded version.
If it is not a case and you can reproduce the issue then you may want to create SR.

Make sure that the new deployment package has a different build number. On startup the manifest file is downloaded and compared to what is locally stored. If they are not the same, the package is downloaded.
Something I have not tried in a long time might work for you - don't place the manifest file on the server. This should cause the compare to fail and result in downloading every time. The manifest file is there to prevent this behavior which in most cases is not desirable.
