Clear function for textfield not working while running automation ---- IBM PCOMM Adapter -
In my project there is one scenario in mainfram application we need to clear the textield & update the new value. but we are trying to do but it's not able to clear.
Some one please give the solution to resolve that issue asap. Find the attached screen shot as well where i have highlighted the field.

Thanks for your reply, I have tried that one also eventhough it's not able to clear the field.
Any workaround needs to be done?

Hi anthonymcgriff, We have a one scenario, where in text field we need to clear the initial input, and then need to proceed with second Input.
we are passing input to textfield using Sendkeys method
Tried to clear text of the inital input through second approach(without giving 'Text' value) you've suggested also tried by passing blank using 'SetValue' method but failed to clear.
Could you please help where to find 'Clear' method for the 'TextField' element.
and also how to pass ctrl+a and Del through Sendkeys method.

Try putting a focus() method prior to attempting to change the field. Also make sure the field is actually matched while you're trying to interact with it via automation.
