IBM PCOMM Adapter - Clear function for textfield not working

I am using openspan 7.1.63

Adapter : IBM PCOMM Adapter.

I have used clear function to clear the text field of the adapter but it doesnot work. means it is not clearing the field just the screen refresh happens. any one know why ?

Can you send a screenshot of your automation please?  The Clear option clears the screen but depending on the application the screen may replot.  If you are clearing an input field set the Text property to empty.
