Chordiant Foundation server 6.7 on Windows 2016
Hi Raghav,
Our application is using Chordiant Foundation server 6.7 .The application is installed and currently running on Windows 8 OS.
Since windows 8 is ending support our corporate security team is asking to migrate it to Windows 2012 or 2016.
As per the 6.7 tech stack it only mentions on Windows 2007.
Can you please suggest with Chordiant Foundation server 6.7 which version of OS Windows 2012 or 2016 is recommended and would work?

Hi Shabanas,
Foundation Server code does not depend on the Operating System. As long as the other third party software like (RAD, WAS) version supports that particular OS, CFS should work fine.
But please make sure you are using the CFS supported third party software like IDE, Application server,DB.

Hi Team, as per the tech stack for CFS 6.7 the supported application server is WebSphere v Proprietary information hidden (64
bit) / v Proprietary information hidden (64 bit)**.
We also have our application running on WAS 8 and Microsoft SQL server 2008.
WAS 8 is ending support so we have to move to WAS 10.
Now the question is can our application on CFS 6.7 can it be deployed and work on WAS 10 without any need to upgrade CFS version, or it is very tightly coupled with WAS 8 version ?

Hi Shabanas,
None of the CFS version is tested or certified on WAS 10.
Most probably none of the CFS version will work on WAS 10 as there are no support for SunRI from WAS 9.
