Child Case status not reflected from parent case after case dependency wait
We are using case dependency wait and after child case processing and using data page retrieve the child case status.
The data page always returns the initial status (not reflecting the updated status)

@Amit Deb could it because of dpage cache data? Can you please run the dpage standalone with flushing dpage? If that's the issue please flush the dpage and then get the status. If you are using the dpage only once then that couldn't be the reason. But if you are hitting the dpage initially to get the initial status of child case, and then if the dpage is not flushed then that could be the reason.

@Anoop Krishna No, it's definitely not data page caching issue, we found another thread where PEGA acknowledged this issue as per that thread, however the recommended solution mentioned there (add post processing activity with some java steps) didn't worked out for our PEGA 8.8 version.

@Amit Deb It works, you need to loop on the data page results and set the child case status. If you need help we can connect. I have recently done it in 8.8 version as well and it worked.

@Amit Deb Yeah this is the behavior I have also seen. The case status is not updated only for the last child case, this is due to the reason that commit has not happened for that particular child case. As soon as we resolve the child case or say update the child case to Resolved- status, the parent case processing starts and parent is being resolved. When we check the status of child case just after the wait shape, it shows the previous status for that child, as the recent status is being in defer save. I have encountered this issue 2 years back and received a solution which can be implemented as post processing activity to the data page. I have encountered this issue recently in 8.8 version as well in a POC. You can find the solution here:
