CaseTypes not appearing on Constellation Web Portal after migration from UI Kit based application.
Hi Team,
I'm doing multiple POCs for Theme Cosmos to Constellation and UIKit to CosmosReact migration on the basis of steps prescribed in this article: https://docs.pega.com/bundle/platform/page/platform/user-experience/full-migration.html
Theme cosmos to Constellation is done on Pega Infinity24 and UIKit to CosmosReact is done on Pega Infinity23 version.
After migration from UIKit to CosmosReact the casetypes in the traditional UIKit application do appear in the DevStudio but they don't show up on the Web Portal. However, the same behavior is not seen in ThemeCosmos to Constellation migration, the caseTypes appear at both DevStudio and WebPortal. I have done exact same steps in both cases described above but not sure why CaseType don't show up only in the UIKit to CosmosReact migration.
On the above context, I'm seeking help on below questions:
1. Why caseTypes don't appear on WebPortal even though they are there on DevStudio in case of UIKit to Cosmos React migration?
2. Shall I expect any additional settings/steps to be done apart from the ones given in the Full Migration article mentioned above?
3. Is it a limitation of Infinity23?
4. For me Constellation application type appears as CosmosReact in Infinity 23, will the Full migration steps work the same on CosmosReact as they are working on Constellation while I migration from UIKit based app?

This issue is now resolved. After the migration we have to explicitly add the cases in channels and interfaces tab. This thing is mentioned nowhere, I had to explore that the hard way.

@sanchitk What is the Pega version of the UIKit application that you have migrated?
If the case types are built on legacy version of Pega, they will not be having any workflow in the Case Designer by default. This might be causing the case types to not show up in the Web Portal.
As you have mentioned that you are able to see the case types in Dev Studio, but not in the Web Portal, can you check if the case types have an Initialization/Create stage (with a green underline). If not, then you can select Actions>Add create stage from the Case designer view of the case types.
Please try this and respond back.
