Cannot view the Test Cases when switching between PegaUnit testing and Automated Unit Testing
Hello,
Under PegaUnit Testing I have created many test cases as you can see below:
Also, I have followed this link to create the Ruleset under which I am saving my Test Cases under https://community.pega.com/sites/default/files/help_v722/designer%20studio/testing%20rules/setup%20cleanup/ds-setting-up-environment-for-testing-tsk.htm
When I switch to the old version to the Automated Unit Testing (and logging off after the switch) in order to use the scheduler, I cannot see anything under the 'Unit Test Cases' as you can below:
PS I have added the PegaRULES:AutoTest Role to my access group and it has a privilege 4, as you can see below.
Note that I am using Pega Version 7.2.2

Hello Tanuj,
It turned out that the two versions are two different implementations (confirmed after opening an SR). So you will never be able to view the test cases while switching the version.
If you are interested in using the automated run functionality that is not present in the new version: you can use the OOTB Service REST pzExecuteTests found under RS Pega-AutoTest:07-10-25 that triggers the execution of test cases (under new version) from an external system/Continuous integration tools like Jenkins.

But the link does not answer my question.. The article assumes that we can see the Test Cases under the Automated Unit Testing but I do not; although the Test Cases are present when I switch to the PegaUnit testing.

Test case and test suites created for AUT in previous versions of Pega can be scheduled to run periodically (provided the user has AutomatedTesting privilege).
But I don't see an option to schedule PegaUnit test suites to run periodically. Is this something that is planned in future releases?
Test cases and Test Suites for PegaUnit are different rule types than that of test case/suites for AUT. Also, PegaUnit testsuites are supported by more no. of rule types. So, it doesn't make sense to me to switch back to AUT to schedule automated test runs.(except for being backward compatible).
