Cancel button on case header not behaving properly

Hi,

I have added a cancel button on pyCaseHeaderOuter section. The button doesn't work as expected when a case is submitted with an error due to validation. It is supposed to go back to the worklist, instead it closes the entire portal. What could be the possible cause of this? I'm currently using Pega version 7.3.1.

Any feedback is appreciated.

it closes the entire portal, means as a log off portal kind of behavior?

can you try out using close action on click event,

also pls share a screen shot what are the other action other than cancel is applied on the action set.

Hi Neha,

It closes the entire portal means it closes the window, not the log off kind of behavior. I have also tried using close action on click event but its not working. Its just weird that it only happens when there's an error on the page.
