Can single deployment pipeline be used for multiple applications?
Hello,
We have close to 20 applications on Pega and created a deployment pipeline for each application. The tasks in pipeline are same for all applications. If we want to add/delete a task, we have to update each pipeline. Instead of that can we have a single pipeline for all applications? so that we don't need to update each pipeline when change comes.

One way i see is you keep updating the product rule in pipeline as per the application you are deploying. That becomes a lot of manual process.
Or else you can use Pega OOTB API's to update the pipelines , this can reduce your effort to manually open each pipeline and make changes.

@gurrp1 Hi Pallavi, Can you please respond on this? We have standard pipeline model for all applications, if any change comes to add or delete a task, we have to update each pipeline which is overhead for us. It would be really great if one single generic pipeline can be used by multiple applications.

@Pallavi GurramWe have setup PDM for the first the time and it is not rolled out to all users for deployments yet. Discussions are going on and new change comes at the end of each discussion either task to be added or deleted. We have not come to the finalized pipeline yet and it may take some time.
