Can Remote Tracer be Blocked

Hi,

We are doing some penetration testing and to do this Some stake holder decided to shut off REMOTE TRACER.

My question is How to do it ? I would like to know what is the impact of it ?

We are using pega 7.4 Cloud .

Hi,

There is a hotfix for 7.4.  You can raise a media request for Hfix-50812.

Remote Tracer can be enabled/disbaled based on the following DSS - Owning RuleSet : Pega-Engine Setting Purpose : tracer/DisableGetConnectionList Set it to 'true' to disable tracer and false to enable tracer.

Thanks for your comment. 

I was also wondering what impact will be. Because we know Remote tracer is very handy. However i would like to know is there any impact as such in terms of application support perspective.

Could you elaborate more on application support perspective? 
There is no impact on the application as such disabling the remote tracer. You will not be able to trace remote sessions from other requestors.
