Can Pega Robotic Automation Studio install and run on VDI?

It is advised that "The location of the solution folder should be on the same computer as the Studio installation, not in a partition area or network drive...." Can Robotic Automation Studio install, setup and run on VDI setting?

I have used Visual Studio with the Pega Robotic Automation Plugin for Visual Studio with Win 10 and Win 7 Virtual machines without issues.   Using source control, I could get the latest solutions/projects mapped locally on the Virtual machine and there is not an issue.   IF I mapped it to another location like shared network path, then it would be noticeably slower.
