Blob Obfuscation

The usecase is you need to replicate data to Big data env and bix is not an online replication tool like GoldenGate and Data Guard.

Since the blob is obfuscated GG and DG can replicate the blob to Big Data env but its still obfuscated and would need Pega tech in another department as well.

Understand pega obfuscates the blob -Is the data in obfuscated format when it is in redo log?-since GG captures change vector from redo and not blob.

IF data is not obfuscated in redo log than GG can be used as an online replication technology.

This is my use case-appreciate some prompt reply

Please note that the encryption is done at the application level. Having said that, the BLOB data that reaches the DB for storing is already encrypted. Hence, the redo log at the DB level do contain the encrypted data only.
