BIX in Pega7.1.8 extracting Duplicate Records
We are using BIX to extract the work instance from work table. We have one stage schema where we have a replica of work table. When BIX job run we are populating the stage work table. We noticed that for some work instance for a particular date BIX table is containing duplicate work instance, whereas BIX job is running only a day. Is that someone already faced this issue? For a particular day BIX should extract only single instance of work. Is that some a Product issue?

If you run with debug on ExtractImpl you will see the SQL query that is being executed. Post that here as it will probably help us understand why the same WO is being extracted multiple times.

Are you using the "Use last updated time as start" option on the extract rule? If the same work object is modified yesterday and today, it will be extracted twice.

Hi Rajiv,
We are facing some issue with the BIX extraction.
Issue#1: If we extract the data by having constraint on primary key, we are getting Unique constraint key error while inserting the updated instance data. How can we fix this issue?
Issue#2: If we extract the data without constraint, duplicate rows are observed for same work object. I think it is expected. But what should we do, to not to have duplicate rows.

Please refer to BIX design models page. If you go down to the section "Designs for different table models", you will notice the delete query to use for "transaction table". This could be one way to handle this.
In future, we may handle this in the BIX product but currently there is no OOTB functionality to do this.
