base64binary data
I'm calling a web service that returns the data in base64binary compressed data. There is a decompression utility that I can access, however I'm having issues getting the data from the web service into the java-connect utility without the data being transformed to text from the base64binary format. Any help in how to do this would be appreciated.

You can use MTOM mechanism to do this.
Customize the XML stream rule (override auto generated XML) so that only the document element xsd:base64Binary includes the encoding so that it is picked up as part of MTOM processing.

The complete design is this:
PRPC calls a web service which is returning compressed data (UTF8 format). I'm using a parse XML rule to get data on clipboard, but it's getting moved to a text property (within the parse rule, I have the element defined as base64binary XSD base type). From there my solution has 2 options. Either get the compressed data into a property that can be moved to a byte array in the EJB for decompression through an existing utility. Or decompress the data within PRPC.
