Backspace on the Pega forum
Hi,
I don't know if this forum is custom made or outsourced, but when you're in the middle of writing a post and you click in the text window to continue writing and then move your cursor away so it's not blocking your view, the text box loses focus - meaning that when you inevitably press backspace, the browser sends you back a page and you lose everything you've just written.
This is incredibly frustrating and some of my colleagues have come across the same issue.
Please could this be changed so that the text box does not lose focus, simply for moving your cursor outside of it? It will help to prevent me from going bald.

Perhaps you can share this as feedback by clickign the feedback tab on right side of the screen ?

Hi Ryan,
Are you all using the same type of laptop/browser? I have seen this happen with some laptop trackpads, but not as a site issue that we would have control over.
I can't replicate this on my Mac, so having some more details would be great. Thanks!

Yes, I'm not sure if a Mac and Safari(?) would work the same way.
But I am running a Windows XP PC and using Google Chrome.

Chrome in the meantime has removed the feature to go back when clicking backspace. So now even if you happen to loose focus of your textarea, you will not loose all your form data anymore.
