Back ground Images in text editor
Hi,
We are using Pega 6.x default text Editor (RichTextEditor) to allow users to create some template which other can use later.
One new change that is desired is the ability to create a template with background image. They would like to select a background image and the add text on top of it. It's sort of b'day greetings and all.
I see there is no option to include background images in pega 6.x editor. In pega 7.x I guess we could have extended the CKEditor control , but have you tried doing something similar in pega 6.x.

Yes RTE has evolved over the years, but I do not see a feature to set a background image. I only see an option to embed an image within the body, even in Pega 7
If you are looking for a way to change the background I believe the only way is to enter the advanced source mode. Then code option yourself. Please find my proof of concept below.
