We have some auto-complete controls in our applications. The suggestions for the auto-complete are displayed when user starts typing in the value or even when user pastes a text using keyboard (CTRL+V). But the suggestions are not being displayed when user pastes the text using mouse, i.e. Right Click + Paste.
Is there any way to display auto-complete suggestions on mouse event for paste instead of the keyboard events?
1) On developer portal, navigate to designer studio - > user interface - > ui gallery
2) In the blank field at the top, type the letter "ma" and notice you get stuff
3) Erase the "ma" and right-click the mouse and choose "paste" to paste in an "ma" (you'll have to preset your paste buffer so it contains an "ma" first of course), and notice you don't get stuff. You should get the same stuff either way, right ?
At first I thought this might be more of a browser-wide epidemic, but it doesn't appear to be. For example, while you're reading this message right now, if you scroll the mesh page all the way to the top right and compare the behavior when you type "ma" into the search field, or right-click the mouse and choose "paste" to paste in "ma", you get the same stuff either way.
