Asterisk mark is not coming in chrome
After upgrading from 6.3 to 7.2 Asterisk mark is not coming in chrome for Label control with Required checkbox checked

can you try checking the same in UI gallery?
also, I could see from image, you have applied the asterisk on label, can you apply the Asterisk on text input rather than label and check it.

We don't have label required checkbox in Pega 7. It will only come if we use free form layout and add a label in layout.
In IE everything is working fine but in chrome Asterisk mark not visible only for Label Required field (For InputText or control its coming)

This might be a configuration leftover from legacy features you brought from 6.x
In Pega 7, I do not believe you can mark a label required anymore, because there is now a close coupling of labels and inputs. In other words, stand-alone labels should not be marked required anymore. If you have a reason to do this, then you should be marking the input field required itself.

Steps to Reproduce this issue
1. Create a section rule
2. Add one free form layout and mark one label field as required, add some text ("test") in next label and save.
3.Check preview of the section in IE (asterisk mark will come)
4. Now Check preview of the same section in Chrome (asterisk mark will not come).

Hi Rohit,
Is the Asterik mark coming in design time?
Freeform layout is deprecated in 7x versions. Instead of it, Dynamic layout should be used.

And if you are having dynamic layout and adding a Label, there is no option for making it Required.

Understood, I want to know why its only coming for IE not in Chorme. Pega 7 is compatible with chorme, then view should be same in IE and Chorme.
