Assignment link as Read- only based on a condition
hi All,
Can someone tell me how i can make the assignment link as read only based on a condition. currently i am using blank role and giving that role in workbasket to make it read only so that user having access to that WB can only open the assignment. but i need to add a condition and make it readonly. where can i add the condition in Access Role?
Something to restrict for the class Assign-Workbasket in access role? Please suggest

Solution: I have modified the HTML source of control- pyAssignmentsLabel (Out of the box control being referred where assignment Links is displayed in review harness).
In addition to bcanperform i have added custom when condition as per need and making the assignment link as read only or editable based on boolean value returned.
Attached the screenshot of changes.

One way you can do is try putting some readonly condition for the cell which shows the link. ( Generally it is under pyAssignmentListGadget section ).
Otherwise you can think of usng the Access when rules like CanPerform .

I could not go with 1 st option because we could not think off the Readonly when logic to be written in the pyAssignmentListGadget section
I went on trying the 2 nd option which i thought would be more feasible. i specified access when condition for Assign-Workbasket/Work- classes in the blank access Role which i mentioned. but unfortunately it was giving access to perform the assignment even though the access when failed. (probably it was taking some other role of the same WB which is giving access to that assignment)
I tried one more approach- i gave the access when in Flow action's security tab under "Allow user to perform action when all conditions are true" field. in this case it did restrict the action to that assignment if the condition fails but not by making it Readonly but showing other OOTB section (i have attached it).
But i could not achieve the feature of making the assignment link Read only which our business is asking for.

Try access deny once. If that also does not work then i think i have left with one option of using my point #1

There is an OOTB access when condition "canPerform", it will referenced by Pega while displaying the case contents to the user.
It will be present in two classes, Assign-WorkList and Assign-WorkBasket.
Just save as appropriate class (work list or workbasket) rule instance (don't change the class name) and customize the condition as you wish.
