ASO Manager
Hello ,
I would like to ask why ASO.db file could not be generated , it works fine on my machine but on the customer machine it is not generated at all , or not pop up the UI to enter the credentials for the user the logs display the follow error:
The mshtml.HTMLInputElementClass COM object can not be cast to the mshtml.IHTMLInputElement interface type. This operation could not be performed because the QueryInterface call to the COM component for the interface with the IID "{3050F5D2-98B5-11CF-BB82-00AA00BDCE0B}" could not be performed because of the following error: An interface used for another thread was marshalled, was called by the application. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8001010E (RPC_E_WRONG_THREAD)).

Hi,
Could you post the full RuntimeLog?
I don't think the mentioned error is related to ASO component.
Please also check <AssistedSignOn> section of RuntimeConfig.xml. It has "FileLocation" property. Make sure that specified folder exists.

Hi ,
yes I have checked the file location attribute and it is in app data , the weird thing is it worked once on his machine then stops working at all .

Based on what I see in the log, there are no issues with ASO manager. Yes, initially there is no ASO.db, but it is created by the following path: C:\Users\Robert.Sroka1\AppData\Roaming\OpenSpan\ASO.db
There is successful call of ShowCredentialDialog() method at 01:31:21.632 and login/password are later retrieved from aso manager between 01:31:35.584 and 01:31:35.589 in LuanchZAR automation. (Please mark blue "password" line in automation as Sensitive, otherwise your passwords are stored in log file).
Please check if ASO.db became hidden and just not reflected in Windows Explorer while exists. Anyway, it clearly works fine from the log.
However, there is also exception when automation tries to paste password into txt_password field. This is not an issue with ASO itself, this is web adapter exception. Try to see what maybe wrong with WEB_ZAR.txt_password by looking into how application behaves with automation. You may try re-interrogate this field. If doesn't help then consider opening SR for this issue.
