Please help me to how to apply the filter in Excel Sheet, Can we apply it using the tableview?

Hi Mahesh,
We are finding issue in setting up a tableview filter using a string column - Column Name - "Col Name". It has string values. What is the way to provide filter attribute in tableview - We have used ColName=MOB. But it gives error saying MOB is not a column.
Similarly, can we have filter condition like Amount Paid > 500
