Any max limit on file size for file listener to process?

Hi Team,

We are using prpc 6.2 SP2. We have a file listener which processes .xml file and creates entries in data base. It was fine with files of size less than 45 MB but recently we got file of 95MB from users to upload but system could not process the file. As the file is in .xml format, it is difficult to split the file. File listener  has configuration to processes the file at a time.

Is there any max limit on the size of the file?

Hi Naveen,

This is one of those questions that is dependent on how many resources are available to PRPC.

When the "system could not process the file", what was the error, if any, that was produced?

If your available system resources are maxed out, then you may need to pre-process the file prior to dropping it into the file listener directory.
