I was able to use "Unarchiver" to unzip the Pega 7.19 VM compressed files after downloading them to my MacBook Pro. However, unlike 7-Zip where you can unzip a whole directory of compressed files, you need to do that for each archive file. "Unarchiver" can be found in the App Store or downloaded from the web, in which case it needs to be placed in the Applications folder.
Does anyone recommend another zip/unzip utility for the mac?

A simple google search has this link: 7-Zip for Mac: download free alternatives. I personally do not like Unarchiver either. Since mac os x is simply a flavor of unix operating system, I often use the Terminal with unix commands (e.g., tar).
