Alternate Stage is not showing green color in 7.3.1

When my flow is changed to alternate stage it is not changed to green color after is resolved, whereas when it is changed to next stage it is changing into green color once it is resolved. Is it an expected scenario or is there any problem in the configuration? We are expecting that the alternate stage should also turn out to green color once it is resolved.
