AES and Listeners

Hello,

We run PRPC 7.2.2 with AES 7.2. I know there is not a way for AES to alert when a listener is goes down or is manually stopped. Are there any plans to include this in future releases of AES?

Is there a way to customize this in AES 7.2 so that it can alert when a listener is down?

Hi,

I can see there is an enhancement ticket is created for this feature. As of now AES does not have email sending feature available.

However we have another alternative way to monitor listeners or any other services in PRPC using JMX. You can write a sample code to get status of listeners, based on the status you can notify interested parties.
