Does File listener listens a file of Zip extension?
Hi Team,
I have a requirement to listen a source and import Zip file into PRPC through file listener.
Later I need to attach that to a case, and based on some condition, I need to even send a mail with this zip file as an attachment.
Is it possible and if yes, please provide the solution to achieve this.
Thanks,
Divya Sri Padarthy

Hi,
I think there is no limitation on type of the file and also you can use this zip file as attachment to case and send mail.
please follow this post might be useful.

When you write attach file name to .pyAttachFile property give the "filename.zip" so with this you can take care of the extension and pyAttachStream you can assign buffered stream captured from file listener for the file.

Hi,
I am able to achieve this, but the attachment in the mail is in encoded format.
Please suggest how to decode it.

Try to use java code similar to this:
Base64Util.decode(java.io.InputStream is) |
You can check the complete set of Base64Util API in EngineAPI menu.

Lets try to break your requirement into 3 parts
1. Pick the zip file using file listener
2. Attach it to a case
3. Send email with this zip file.
What exactly your error message is saying ?
Also, I found a very nice article which might help you further.
