Advanced Encryption Standard 192
Hi,
On mesh all the docs gave AES 128 implementation, Pega Cloud uses AES 256.
Anyone has the detailed implementation guide on AES 192? What param to set? Or is the JRE defined?
We are using Pega 7.1.8, tomcat, oracle.
SR-A77553 is created.
I got a jar with 192 String Key, imported to my PE 7.1.9, it works.
But on cloud, the same jar doesn't work.
Then We did runPega, compileAndLoad scripts on the cloud, it didn't work.
Are these 2 scripts mandatory on each environment? Can I use the same jar to be imported using regular import? In stead of run compileAndLoad?

I checked SR-A77553 and I see you attached the document 'Encryption AES 256.docx' that you are referencing.
In that document it states:
How to check application cryptography strength ?
Attached here is a small java program which can be run to check the strength offered by the installed jdk. If the encryption bit is displayed as 2147483647, the application can use either AES-128 bit or AES-256 bit encryption. If thedisplayed output is 128, the application can only use a AES-128 bit encryption.
Do you have the 'small java program' it refers to : and have tried running it ? Does it help ?
