Data Encryption
The role is to encrypt the data in the db so that external users can not modify any changes to the db.Is there a way to encrypt the data that is being entered in to the database.Eg: Suppose you are adding a new operatorID and is there a way to encrypt that data being entered.

Pega platform comes with some 3rd party libraries that it leverages to do the encryption as mentioned in the link I shared. You can leverage the same to encrypt your text file as well. I don't think there are out of the box APIs to directly do this so you might have to write your own code.

Are you looking at just the BLOB column data being encrypted or all column values?

i'm sending some specific values in a text file to another using JSON (and the data need to be encrypted) so what i need to know how Pega and this function are interrelated.

What if I would expose a column reporting and and the BLOB is encrypted? is the exposed column automatically encrypted?
What king of encryption algorithms to we provide OOTB?

I don't think the exposed column is automatically encrypted when we optimize for reporting unless the property type in Pega platform is set as TextEncrypted.
