In ADP trace we cannot see the DB transaction events
Hi All,
I am using Asynchronous data pages but when i do a trace none of my DB transaction events in the ADP calling activity is getting listed in tracer( Activity stepsm when , DataTransform are available in tracer ). Even i have enabled DB cache and DB Query. Let me know if there is any settings to enable the same. Thanks in advance.

Raised a PEGA SR SR-B12415 for this issues. And pega engineers told this as an enhancement and no fix available only to be prioritized in future releases. So In ADP we cannot see DB trace events.

In normal tracer would not list up DB query runs by ADP because it runs on different requestor / thread due to its nature of being Asynchronous. You can try setting ADP Load event type from tracer setting. Hope this will help you.

The event types (DB Query, DB Cache) on tracer will be helpful in tracing DB transactions. The DB traced events will appear in sky blue colour.

Could you please try the option called ADP Load in Tracer settings ?

Hi Team,
Please refer my earlier attachment. I have enabled all tracer setting but i am still unable to view the ADP DB trace related logs (Obj-Save, Obj-opn, even Commit) does not show anything. I am able to see the ADP traces (but not the DB transactions in them).
Any advice on this is appreciated.

How exactly you are loading your datapage? are you calling connect-Wait method? In case you loading datapage in a flow action then in pre processing activity you can load datapage and post processing activity you can call connect-wait method provided the pool ID matches in both activities.
While tracing your activity check for the requestor management on SMA to capture the child requestor ID for loading datapage, you can select that requestor and click on tracer.

Thank you for the update! Do you mind letting us know the SR number so that we can track the enhancement through this post?
Thanks,

Thank you! I have updated the original post above to reflect this information. I hope you are aware that you need to work with your Account Executive to follow-up on any progress on the enhancement.
