Activities in Navigation Rule: How to get user to enter parameters?
Hi guys,
I have a nagivation ruel that I would like to call an activity. This activity takes 2 parameters. How would I enable the following: User clicks on navigation node, users enters 2 parameter values and then activity executes?
I can reference the activity and run it. However it is useless if the parameters are not entered.
To clarify, I would like the parameters to be entered by the user rather than automatically passed.
Any help would be great.

Hi,
For enduser to enter few data we would need an UI So how about calling a flowaction onclick of the navigation node, and in that flowaction either you can have a custom button (submit) to call the activity or can call through postActivity configured in the flowaction,

Thanks for the reply. This is how I originally implemented this, but was hoping there would be another way that would require less rules to be added.
I will keep this implementation if it is the only way

How about this:
In the original screen where the navigation is present, in that itself have few input feilds to have users enter theire data, and configure them to onchange post data
Now in the navigation rule , just configure the calling of activity and in the activity read that data from clipboard
