Accidentally tried to import pega 8 aplication to pega 7

hi one of my team accidentally imported pega 8 aplication to pega 7.2.2 , and cause the server cannot be run.

it keeps showing this error "com.pega.pegarules.pub.context.InvalidApplicationReferenceException: No such Rule-Application instance: PegaRULES:8" and on the prweb home screen it show unaunthenticated or not availables.

any idea what to do? except restoring the database, because we don't have the backup file for before it's being imported.

Hi febry lim ,

Please add the below setting in prconfig.xml file and start the server, it should let the server start up I guess and once it starts you can login with [email protected] and can delete the imported rules.

<env name="Identification/SystemName" value="prpc" />

Let me know if this didn't help.

hi we manage to restore the ruleset by moving all data on schema rulepega to an newly installed pega server first .

but i will note this , so next time if it happen again we can try this.
