504 - Timeout issue
When I am trying to export records to excel file, it gives me timeout error after 30 seconds.
There are around 8000 records in this report.

Is your Pega server running behind a web server? There are two possibilities regarding timeout. One is the report itself and the other is the web server timeout settings (it differs from web server vendors). To determine the actual reason, you can run the report by directly accessing the Pega server (if possible). If that is fine, then you know it is due to web server timeout setting.

thanks for the reply. There is a server on which we have around 6 nodes and we have kept JVM at each node. Thats how our pega app is running.
I checked the report timeout settings in Data Access Tab, it is set to 60-60 for both running and exporting.
Max records is set to 10000. When I decrease that count to 4000, it does export the excel file. But if I keep it blank, it gives gateway timeout.
By the way how do I run the report by directly accessing the Pega server?

Are you trying to do export to excel for report?
If that is, you have options in reports to increase records, timeouts and formatting that could help you.

I am trying to export to excel for a report.
I have tried to decrease the max export count to 4000 and it actually worked. But I need to export the whole set of data which consists around 8000 records.
But it is giving gateway timeout.
