How to implement runtime language and theme switching in Pega Constellation
Is there a supported way in Pega Constellation (v23.1) to let users switch language (locale) and theme (light/dark) at runtime without logging out and back in?
If possible, please share the recommended approach or APIs to reload localization bundles and reapply themes dynamically.

@BOUANENEM Yes, you can switch both at runtime in Constellation 23.1. Add your translations with the Localization wizard and import the language pack. In your menu, include Language and Theme options. When a user picks a language, call the public API setLocale (for example fr-FR) to reload localized text without logging out. Define light and dark themes in App Studio under Settings > Themes, then call setTheme to apply the chosen theme immediately. Save the user’s choices (simple user preference) and reapply them on portal load by calling the same APIs. If some strings don’t refresh, update the localization bundle (LocaleUtils) or re-export/import the pack. That’s it live language and theme toggling with no session restart.

@Sairohith Thanks for your reply. I didn’t fully understand your explanation. Could you please clarify what you mean by using setLocale and setTheme? Are these official Pega Constellation APIs, or should they be implemented manually?
