Issue

The Launch Harness action with the New Document option fails to download the correct text file post update from Pega Platform 8.5.

Symptoms

• Failure to download text file
• Download of incorrect content

Steps to reproduce

1. Launch Harness at the click of a button.

2. Invoke an activity (custom activity) inside the Launch Harness action set.

3. Add download file logic to the activity.

4. On the application portal, on click of the button (client portal, application portal, and so on), HTML content downloads instead of text content (content in text format).

Root Cause

This is an expected behavior post update from Pega Platform 8.5. 

The Harness action with the target set to New Document to download a file is no longer supported post updating from Pega Platform 8.5.

Solution

Use the OpenURLInWindow option to address the file download issue.
