About Upgrading PostgreSQL and Pega
We are currently building (reviewing) an internal framework for PostgreSQL V-UP decisions. There are many things that cannot be determined without understanding (deciding) the DBMS-centric migration approach at the super-overview level. To the extent possible, could you tell me the correct and incorrect parts below?
Assumption ・Virtual server hosting PostgreSQL or Pega requires OS upgrade (reconfiguration) ・Requires PostgreSQL upgrade (11.8→13 or 15) ・Pega upgrade required (8.8→24.1)
Summary of Expected PostgreSQL Migration Tasks ・Possible Case 1 When you import existing assets into the new PEGA, tables and Pega management information Export the case as CSV and import it into Pega in the new environment and you're done. ・Possible Case 2 I will leave the newly made PEGA for a while. In the new PostgreSQL, DBMS engineers can use the old Pega and the new You will need to migrate your data between Pega references and then migrate the new migrated PostgreSQL. As a condition, older Pegas must be updated and versioned in advance
