My requirement is to change the background color of a text field with one colour when the API triggred and nee dto change it to other color when use edit the API data . How to achieve this
All the Data pulled via integrations( internal and external) should be shown in grey colour if it is not edited by user . If user edits it, colour should change back to white background
Currently data coming from SIMAH will be shown in grey colour if user edits anything.
This has to be changed. If user edits any data retrieved from simah api, field should be shown in white background( as in AC-1)

In skin rule create one custom controls under Text inputs & Formatted Text
One with grey color by providing Field Background value accordingly. In section rule have two text inputs configured with visibility condition based on your criteria. Display one text input with grey colour and other with white colour (which is usually default) based on visibility when condition.

But I have one issue. Suppose when API giving data the value is 100 and user making it to 200. the edited value is not saving .

@NagakeerthiN16989272 If data is not saving on refresh, configure action set to post value so that data gets persisted, or have action set of refresh section configure such that data gets posted and then refresh happens.

@NagakeerthiN16989272 Configure a watch in tracer on the property and check where the value is getting reset.
That might help to debug further on data persistence.

This impacts Accessibility requirements and future upgrades. I prefer an alternative solution, such as a column notifying the user that the initial value has changed instead of colour coding.

@RameshSangili For the same requirement I have table Layout where for one Pagelist specific value is not returning from API and field is editable so its taking White Background. In the review Mode of this layout am using as read-only always so entire table is coming in the grey background. Please suggest any possible approach to make the fields dynamically changing the color in both perform and review.
