PEGA Robot Studio V22 capabilities
Hello,
I am wondering if its possible to create something like this with PEGA Robot Studio v22?
" 1 - Capture 3 Tickers (e.g. AMP, MSFT, TSLA) in an Excel sheet
2 - Develop a bot that takes each ticker at the time and search website yahoo finance for their recent closing price
3 - Paste the closing price into the column next to each ticker in the Excel."

@AmorB16960450It certainly is. This is a rather simple use case that you could certainly build in either 22.1 or even our prior 19.1 version. One thing I would suggest is that you use the same match rule for the initial search page as you do for the results of the search. This will simplify your automations so that you only have to look for one page and enter your stock symbol into one control.

@AmorB16960450I would construct this with the following parts.
- Open your Excel file (use the Excel Connector instead of the Microsoft Excel Connector for this).
- Use a loop to iterate through your spreadsheet row by row and grab the first cell value you need using the GetCellValue method of the connector.
- Run your automation that launches your Website if it is not already running and also check IsCreated on the pages you are searching for.
- The easiest way for a novice to make this work in Edge or Chrome would be to terminate any Edge or Chrome processes before you start your bot. You can also do this in a Startup automation using the GetProcessesByName method on the Toolbox.
- Search the application for the ticker you received from the spreadsheet and return the results.
- Enter those results into the spreadsheet by using SetCellValue.
