Preflight Optimization for Theme-Cosmos based applications

Hi, i'm currently trying to improve the loading times for a Theme-Cosmos based application, i stumbled upon the preflight optimization on the Pega Documentation page, but when trying in Dev Studio i saw the line "*Theme-Cosmos based applications are not supported".

I was wandering if there are other tools i can use to improve the performances
