Report definition filter functions
Hi,
May I know how to use the report definition filter function feature . I saw there’s this FX button beside the value. And I have tried to use Left function on my Param value. But it doesn’t works

@Gunasekaran Baskaran thanks for the reply. I try to create the report definition. As the filter , when I pass in a column a = left function as left 3 characters of param.input .My param.input is abcde in string It doesn’t work… but when I just pass in column a = abc, the report works. Do you know the reason why?

my report definition condition is to filter the user work queue, but instead of filter the full user work queue. I wanna filter part of it for example the first 3 character. So , when user open the report definition , it will only filter the rows which relevant to the firxt 3 character of user work queue. The value I use is pxRequestor.pyWorkbasket(4) and i would like to use left to get the first three character. However, you could see when i run the report, it give the whole function as value instead
